^ I think it's bad for the centre of one of the busiest cities in the world. It takes a fair amount of heavy snow to have any effect on the main roads of Derby let alone NYC.

I have been chatting to collegues in and around New York, the snow was not as bad as expected but the public transport systems are all shut down and all private cars are off the road, so most are hiding under their duvets. |

It was Boston that had the bulk of it apparently. The webcam at the moment is blocked out by the blizzard
