Whereabouts in the boot? Main culprit is a leaky high level brake lamp.

My HL brake lamp used to do the same when i rinsed it after washing, the lamp unit didn't fit tightly enough against the seal to form a seal between the lamp unit and the metal body. Prob easy to fix, either by packing the retaining clips or fitting 2 seals if they will fit.

Took mine out the other day because it kept leaking, seal didn't look to bad so I ended up putting Vaseline ( a good amount ) around the seal and so far it seems to be ok Smile Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto

Same issue here with High Level brake light...the seal round it was Censored
This results in water trickling down rear window & into boot.

Light is easy enough to take out & re-seal Whistle Cheers Ian

Mine leaks as well in heavy rain and snow melt. I'm on my second, but I am now going to smear silicone grease around where the foam seal meets with the metal to make a better barrier. When the weather gets better that is !!

High Level brake light, nice that a problem that was about in 2007 is still happening seven years down the line.
