I had my cam belt, water pump and idler tensioner done for about £350 (I can't remember exact amount), I know it is satisfying to do jobs but for peace of mind I know it is done right. Plus if it goes wrong I have somewhere to go. I used an indie. |

Done a few of them. Not particularly difficult, but a bit fiddly removing the starter and inserting the timing pin into the flywheel

In theory, up to you if you want to leave it that long. I haven't. |

To be perfectly honest the car will be going up for sale after its been for a service at our local LR independent , if it was within 10,000 miles then I might consider it . I will make the new owner aware . Don't suppose any of you want a 09 plate XS FL2 ? |

Local indie did mine who I have been using for 12+ years, he does all the stuff that I feel out of my depth on. You could go to a dealer, but it would cost more I would imagine. |
