I deliver cars for a living, that being said, car specific... Landrover, Audi, vw, Skoda and Volvo and all the sales we deliver too offer the paint protection at a marked up price expecting you to barter them down to what you think is a good price but will be the actual price they were going to charge anyway. Diamondbrite is around £250 same with life shine. I had my last car, (Audi S3) done twice last year for £40 each time. And I got the touch up kit too.

Yes it's very addictive! When I had the S3 done, it was by a Skoda dealer that offer life shine to customers! Then also offer it on the side. Proper valeter, they spend hours on it as the £40 they make doesn't go to the dealer, but does cover the cost of the lifeshine kit. Big rip off. 😜 |

Also don't get GAP insurance from dealers! They make 100s on it. Go to www.ala.co.uk ! * GONE. GS TD4 Manual MY2013. Orkney Grey with privacy, cold and clearview packs, armrests (a must!) and a spoiler.

I much prefer polishing the car myself. Bought our Tiguan and the dealer offered us the Autoglym kit for free as an incentive. He was a bit surprised when I turned it down. I did let him do the interior though (cloth) like a scotchguard treatment means it stays clean with 2 messy children doing their best to make it look secondhand! |

Funnily enough, they did offer me GAP insurance, but I was aware of that one, and refused it.
