Ooer! Main gear has big problems! Likely to take out Gatwick for some time when it does touch down. Pity we don't have Manston any more - came in very handy for emergencies such as this! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Lucky no tyres burst on landing. Must have put some strain on the three other main undercarriage assemblies on landing. I've recently flown on a couple of Virgin Atlantic 747-400s although not this one (G-VROM I think). Gone:
