The car needs to be coded to tell it the towbar and electrics have been added. A LR Dealer will automatically do it, if the towbar was fitted by a non LR Dealer it may not have been done and needs to be done. |

Just to round this one off - carried out a hard re-set and changed the radio clock again and the dash clock came back to life
