I recently bought some bosh wiper blades which made a huge difference, but then again it wasn't because of wiper shudder Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner |

Screen wash helps for 5-10 mins, then it slowly gets worse and worse, then it's painful!!

Might be due to the angle of attack of the blade to the screen, sometimes checking that the wiper arm where the blade attaches is square to the screen can help and giving it a slight tweek if its not? |

check angle as mentioned and alter by wrapping flat part of wiper arm in cloth and twisting with pliers.

Cheers CG, will try altering the angle of the dangle! Is it the actual arm I twist?

Yes it's the actual arm, it cured a bad case of judder on my old Xtrail even with new OM blades.

Never found coatings on the windscreen to be a benefit as they either streak unless your wipers are new or they judder

Il have a play with twisting the arm one way or another. They are new wipers anyway.

Rainex and Freelander 2 do not go together, its been mentioned a few times on here, could possibly be due to the type of Blade, I have heard from others that have the newer style blade and this happens but not it seems with the original old style blade |

Out of interest - why ? T PS Jimski - should this not be under LR warranty considering how long you've had it ? I changed because of the judder, but....the one constant is my rainex screen wash. That's been cycled through now twice with normal blue screen wash on the way to work this morning,
