What a brilliant site this is and its now encouraged me to update my trusty 2007 GS FL2 which I've had from new.

Firstly, I'm waiting to upgrade my Halogen headlights to the 2013 LED/Signature headlights and have looked on the site for clarification, but need some help. (The rears are already done to the new LED's and look great)

On my 2007 GS Halogen Headlights, the dip and main beam bulbs are separate bulbs, but on main beam both come on together. So what happens on the 2013 headlight? Is the 7 LED effectively the dip and the projector the main beam only? I assume the signature strip is in effect the sidelight.

I do realise that the wiring and connectors will need to be changed according to Wytonjps's excellent diagrams.

The round LED is the sidelights, there is now only one bulb combined for the dip and full beam with a shutter system that drops and raises to create the dip and full.

I am doing some experiments with some signature headlights at the moment. I believe that on signature versions the DRL is not used as the sidelight (in it's dim form), but instead entrusts this to the signature lights. I can't get the DRL's to dim on mine like they do on others as this is a legal requirement for night driving if used as sidelights.

Like I say, only my experiments so would like to see confirmation from others.
