it is made like that for safety reasons.Have to wonder why one would even want to watch a DVD instead of paying attention to where one was going

I'm looking into this feature too, I would like to fix this restriction to view a rear camera whilst in motion for recording purposes etc. there is usually a company that does a module that sits between screen and speedo signal. |

My main use for this feature is for when roaming around in private land (which I clearly stated in my initial post) "ie our family farm" but I have edited/removed my post! Cheers Carman yes I'm aware of this company looks like it will be my best bet MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Thanks I just did not want to be seen to be promoting illegal activities and get similar reply "why do this it's illegal" so being very tired after a busy day I assumed at the time that it would be the best thing to remove my post! If you were happy with my initial post I will gladly repost I'm sure they're are others on here who would like to have the DVD in motion when on private farm land. It would also be handy for myself when, I have my nephew as he can watch something and I can get on with my work when roaming around at our family farm

I would want it enabling too if it was straight forward thing to do, amount of times I have been stuck in a traffic jam and a movie or bit of TV would have been good to while away the time, but as we know it blanks out when in gear or something

I do have to wonder how much members think about safety and what they want to do while driving a vehicle.
