I was told by a reliable source that production will be starting in next couple of months with dealerships expecting demonstrators mid January. In anticipation you can no longer customer spec a freelander 2 and the only things that can be changed on a factory build are interior colour and exterior colour. They seem to be getting ready early. |

I've popped in past the dealers on way home to pick up a part for our 90! They told me that all FL2's have been built by LR and that none are available to order as such! It's just a case of stating your model and colour and they will get one ASAP for you! Not sure how true this is however MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I seem to remember that LR shipped knocked down kits to India to an assembly plant in Pune. Will they now move the production tooling there and continue to build the Freelander 2 for that market?
