Here's me thinking I'd seen a picture you posted recently towing a coachman ??!!
You're right though - even the Unicorns are made from balsa wood inside. FL2 2007 57 GS
D2 2005 Td5 - gone and not missed
FL1 2005 Td4 - gone and missed

Never had a Coachman, admired them, come close last year to getting one, but it was not to be. The Unicorn 3 is a big improvement, but we had already committed to the Swift, just hope I don't regret it. The Swift does feel very solid, nothing moves when touched, am impressed, sat out here under the Caravanstor Zip, glass of wine, bliss, who needs a cottage, hotel, Airports Thumbs Up

Ok guys got the car now . I booked the car in to get the towbar fitted tomorrow . I know everyone recommended witter but to be honest I don't like the look of the towbar housing when not in use , so I went for the brink/thule , the fitter called me today saying the brink is out of stock and they have no idea when it will be back in stock .
The fitter has offered me a towsure detachable , my question is has anyone any experience or thoughts on/of this towbar ? I know it's a bit late in the day asking . Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

You've been saved from hassle with not having the Brink/Thule one, even though it has a dedicated point for a Breakaway Cable Wink
Westfalia detachable is ok, with provision for a Breakaway Cable

Take no notice of the heading, it is not fixed.

Been changed Rolling with laughter eighteen months ago it hadn't, they have been running with the fault for seven years and hadn't fixed it.

Thule/Brink also supply a detachable Towbar for the Discovery 3/4 and RRS, standard fitment, they have had them coming loose in the receiver since 2006, nothing has been changed yet.
