Wales 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Stornoway Grey

Thanks
Ralph K

Certainly looking forward to towing with the FL need to get a few miles on the clock as we are going away on Monday.

Not got a problem with CG he just needs to get out of the battery more often and join us free range thinkers.

regards

Martin Home is where my caravan takes me.

Blimey CG, that's very generous of you. Do we get superb views of the Yorkshire countryside, disturbed only by the gentle hum of an advancing tank? He who dies with the most tools wins!

Bow down Bow down
Oh dear, time for me to grovel then. I must be getting cynical in my old age.

Could just be my experience of farmers. The one who owns the farm where my van is stored has added to the challenge of getting it in and out. He now stores machinery and feeding troughs alongside the track where I have to do a sharp left turn to get across a cattle grid between stock fencing. End result - a hole in the rear corner panel of my van Sad Sad . Thought of lots of expensive ways of new toys to make it easier, then realised I could just have moved the troughs a bit Embarassed (The farmer is actually a great bloke with a beautiful D3)

MJR - Welcome, I know you will be impressed with your Freel 2 as a towcar He who dies with the most tools wins!

CG, I thank you sincerely for your offer of an overnight for Freel2.com members. I am surprised at the cynicism with which your offer was met. Shame on you all! If I am ever up there I would love to take you up on your offer.
As an aside guys I think old CG is starting to appreciate us vanners as alright people. Surprised Surprised Surprised Ralph

Ralphk - you could be right, I obviously misjudged the poor guy. So many members have abused him for so long I hate to think of the stress he must have been under Whistle He who dies with the most tools wins!

Dave, Shame on you! There is no way that there can be reconciliation between CG and the rest of the caravanning world (340,000 of them in the UK alone) with your attitude of cynicism of him and his motives. I have now decided that my mission in life is to go with CG when he buys his first caravan. I know that is what he really wants but is in serial denial. I am sorry to be harsh Dave but you are the kind of friend that he does not need right now. We need to help him through this period until he buys the first 'van. Maybe if you cannot help him then you may have to leave the forum until the more positive of us bring CG into our fraternity. Time is on our side but you need to bring him through this crisis not get in the way. Ralph
