hi all,i am a member of d3,but have been away from the green oval for about 4 years, well into caravanning and am doing more touring so the lr2 seems the sensible choice(unless someone out there knows something about them that I don't |

Hi all I have a freelander 2 hse auto absolutely love the car fits everything we need a car to do I was a service manager at a land rover dealer so a little biased towards the brand I have a problem that none of my old friends can help with I have a deep vibration when driving at between 1750-2200 rpm if I put into neutral noise goes so on drivetrain but finding it really hard to pinpoint I remember doing a gearbox oil change on a sport for a similar issue but not the same any ideas anyone? Many thanks Alex |

Easy as you are a ex LR service manager. Check for fault codes and if none found drive away home and come back to the forum if it gets any worse |

No fault codes logged really weird as only at that rev range at any speed thought about rear diff but wouldn't it be constant? |

The rear diff would be constant and proportionate to road speed, I've just spent a lot of money replacing one ![]() 2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . Best Car I ever owned ! 2023 Toyota Hilux invincible X 2.8 Auto . |
