Just picked up my '13 Freelander 2 GS TD4 150, Manual.

Its my first land Rover and first 'new' vehicle so quite chuffed even though its no top of the range model!

The dealer made a few cock ups with my order so i'm currently without the arm rests in the front and back, i've got dodgy plain mats (and not the ones seen in the brochure) and the dealer workshop managed to fit a stainless steel rear tread plate instead of the front bumper 'styling cover'!

Hopefully it will all get sorted but wanted to sign up and say hello!

Hello all,just bought my first Land Rover,it's a 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE.It has a couple of little faults,tailgate will not open with handle and rear wiper not working, which is how I found this site.The dealer has ordered the parts so it's all good.

I am new to the forum, I have just traded in my Jaguar XF 2.7Premium Luxery for a 2009 Free Lander 2 HSE in Stornoway Gray, It was a big step as its a completley different type of car and drive, I Have always wanted a Landy and a Disco is to big for what I need, the wife thinks I have gone nuts trading in the Jag, I just hope I have done the right thing ........ to late now.

Keep telling my self if I was 100% happy with the Jag ( had it for 18months second hand ) I wouldnt have even looked at another car, although like I say I have wanted an off roader for a long time.

Am currently in negotiations for a 2009 TD4 HSE in Stornoway Grey to replace my 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 S which is really too big a beast for my needs.

Hope to be a fully fledged member of the FL2 community before too long and am sure this forum will be as friendly and informative a place to be as my time over at disco3.com!
