Hi Everyone

Just found this site as I was looking for details on the Freelander 2.
I have a black TD4 SE manual, with privacy glass, side steps and mud flaps on order which I will be picking up on Saturday. Can't wait Laughing
I am afraid I have also started the modding already......I have ordered a set ospf light smoked side repeaters to replace those ghastly orange ones, only problem is everyone is saying get the clear ones and now I'm worried that I made the wrong choice. I suppose I could always order another set if they dont look that good.

No doubt there will be other questions I need to ask so I will be a regular.

John

Welcome to the club, Fridays will definatly be a long day waiting and you wake Saturday morning feeling like Santa been, only you still have to drive to the garage and get your present.

Personal preference on the side repeaters, I still have the ghastly orange one, but may change, just like a may get the side steps.

sixonetwo on ebay is a great place for the side repeaters - They're 40 on a BIN, but I've seen them take 30 on a best offer.

Any one need the side repeaters, get in touch with Mark at www.sixonetwo.co.uk and mention the forum, he will do you the best price I've seen, and they arrive the next day Thumbs Up I have the Stornaway Grey with the 'clear' side repeaters.....looks great, I think 'smoked' lenses might look odd against the silver of the grille, the clear blends in perfectly.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Rimini Red

Hello, Just about to join the ranks of FL2 owners - pick the car up from the dealer in an hours time. Really excited havent slept for the past few nights - silly isnt it. Not been able to afford a posh one so just the base model for us in Rimini Red which seemed like the best option now that Tambora Flame is discontinued.

Congrats on an excellent site, gave me plenty to read while waited for delivery of the car.

Cheers

Welcome Mountain, Narvik and Max, Thumbs Up I'm sure you will find his site really useful as you wait for your FL2 , and after delivery of course. The only problem is, as you glean little snippets of info, you start to become impatient for your FL2 to arrive, believe me its well worth the wait! Enjoy!

Carfraz, 4 months 2500 miles and no problems, even the roof rails were without ribs, Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter there was a bit of whistling, Whistle Whistle but I soon realised it was from RAV 4 and X3 drivers as I cruised past! Laughing Mack
