Looking to buy a Freelander 2 2.2 TD4 HSE (July 2010). Are there any issues with this model/year? |

Hi, welcome to the Forum.. I only joined in July when I bought my 08 SE. Do as I did and do a few searches through the forum for recurring faults. Generally pretty good. Clutch/DMF issues on manuals - although other brand diesels have similar issues. Random electrical/electronic faults but no really common themes. Remember, forums attract those with faults, not those without. So don't get put off. Enjoy it! Its a crackin motor! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone) 08 FL2 TD4 SE Manual in Rimini Red (Now Gone) |

Manual or auto box? Mine is a manual but despite it's thirst for fuel (auto that is), i wished i got an auto. Got caught with DMF problems and no doubt it'll raise it's head if i keep the car not to mention silly clutch slave cylinder inside the bell housing.
