Replace screenwash bottle

Hi Freelanders,

I've just bought my first Land Rover (Freelander 2 SX) and the screenwash bottle wont fill up. I have the display to say the level is low but when I put screenwash in, it just goes straight onto the deck. Naturally, it has some damage and have purchased the replacement bottle, but fitting it looks like a mare of a task. Any advice, pictures etc?

Many thanks,
Rhinog

Here's a picture, might be accesible from the wheel arch with the wheel and the arch liner off, have a peep through the search function, it throws up loads of info, like this post from Pab.

Cheers Taztastic,

Will do, otherwise I guess the front bumper must come off. The leckie side of it scares me a little as well.

Sounds like it can be accessed from the arch with the wheel and the liner off, make sure the car is secure if you have the wheel off.
Electrics will be on plugs so no worries with those and with ignition off its all dead anyway. Thumbs Up

Like said have alook though the wheel arch, but if you need to remove the bottle don't try and remove via just the wheel arch unless you have no bones in your arms lol

Much easyer and faster to remove the bumper. I made this mistake when trying to replace the washer level sensor and in the end had to remove the bumper Thumbs Up Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto
