And again with the scrambled eggs. As the wife had left for work, I let her lick out the jug I used to microwave my scrambled eggs. (It’s our secret, don’t tell the wife!). I think I used too deep a jug this morning - at one point she got her head stuck in it!

Do t ever make the mistake of letting your Spaniel borrow your glasses. You’ll never get them back.

Sad times. From our group of cockers, we lost one yesterday. Ted, a 10 year old working cocker. He was our Susie's uncle. Started off a couple of weeks ago with constant runs then on last Friday his stomach started to bloat. They took him to the vets but all they could do was some blood tests that showed up a 'possible' infection. They put him on steroids, anti-inflammatory tables plus antibiotics. They took him again late Saturday night as he was short of breath and they drained off his stomach and they were due to look at him again on Monday morning but he went downhill quickly on Monday morning and he died on the way to the vets. Needless to say, our friends are absolutely heartbroken as are we all. They are still stunned how it could go from a case of the runs to losing him in a few short weeks. We are all (10 owners and now 7 dogs) going away together for the new year and it’s going to be a difficult time for all - no doubt a few more tears will be shed over the course of the holiday. RIP Uncle Ted.

My Spaniel watches too much T.V. Mickey Flanagan is one of her favourites.

Fooled mine today when I fitted an illusion mirror gate to my back fence. She thought she had a playmate.

I lost me beautiful lad 2 days before lockdown started with a sudden cerebral issue, he was a couple of months short of 14 years old, I’d had him since he was 12 weeks old. RIP Jamie❤️

Sorry to hear that, it is awful when you lose them. A friend of ours has to have their 15 year old Lab put down this week with the same thing. Wasn’t even allowed to be with her as she slipped away - had to hand her over at the vets door and walk away. Absolutely heartbroken. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Thanks for your comments Steve, at least I was able to stay with him and comfort him as much as I could. Heartbreaking but the kindest thing to do. 64 plate TD4 SE Santorini Black
