Hi agardim, Yes indeed, I just use the Garmin's in built speaker, no problems with clarity or volume. I did think of mounting a speaker in the central dashboard position and taking the feed from the Garmin but it was not necessary. Surprisingly, even the Bluetooth phone connection works reasonably well which I didn't expect due to the microphone being covered by the dashboard. |

I dont have the Satnav but quick question please. Is the speaker grill above it used for the satnav speaker if installed and if not, does it do nothing? It doesnt seem to form part of the Alpine stereo so I assume it for this?

The centre speaker is used for the Dolby surround sound system I believe - I would guess the factory sat nav sound uses the normal radio speakers. |
