Has anyone out there taken up the Stratone offer of free mot to 2024, free 5 years servicing, £1000 loyalty bonus and 48 months interest free? Is it any good? |

I doubt it's any good, Stratstone, wouldn't on them if they were on fire, worst dealer in our area, the Techs are incompetent, they cannot tell the difference between a battery monitor mounted behind the glove box and an engine management chip, they even called me last year and asked if there was anything that would tempt me back, when I replied no, they put the phone down. |

Wouldn't trust Evans Halshaw to repair a Vauxhall Astra, let alone a Land Rover! As per AD667829274656, they are utterly incompetent, and at the only service that my previous Freelander received by them at Aylesbury, they managed to lose my windscreen washer bottle cap, as well as forget to reset the oil service indicator. Useless shower...... Foraging near Gaydon....

Just been told by another supplier that the XS model is discontinued and replaced by a SE, lower price and higher spec, has anyone else heard this? |

I totally agree with others peoples comments about Stratsone Dealerships as several people from home and work have had dealings with them in the North East UK . My personal find was , I have just bought a 2007 with a full set of stamps [57000 miles] Sratsone and when I came to take the underplate of all bolts where seized and then when I found the sump looked as though it had never been touched my suspicions where raised . Oil had been vacumed out , concluded by a sluggy oil , after 4 engine oil and filter changes over the next 500 miles to clean the system it is now pretty good , so now I will leave for 5000 miles . Thats not the only issue I found but I dont want to write a book here . Thks |
