United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

Thought I'd post an update, It went into limp mode again at 9pm last night on the way to Cardiff so had to come home again, restored original map and tested it on Haldon Hill 3 times this morning and pleased to say I couldn't get it to go into limp mode no matter how hard I accelerated.

Whilst I realise that superchips were very helpful and offered to tweak the map I'm going to chicken out and have it in it's original form. I know its perfectly safe but I just don't want to take the risk to be honest.

They have reset the device for me so if anyone is interested in buying it off me, get in touch with a sensible offer Smile

I think they charge £200 if they get back the handset and send you another one (like for another vehicle) Once they reset the device which they did mine ages ago, its pretty much brand new so as far as i'm aware you plug the device in, send off the current ECU map and you'll get the map free. i will of course phone them on Monday morning to confirm this, which is why i was asking the original £200, (which would be fine if what i'm saying is correct)

If you then have to pay a further £200, this figure is not justified and I will adjust accordingly.

You'd normally pay around the £350 mark i believe?
