Topix manual says:
So in principle vehicles from MY09 should have the gen 4. I've always assumed mine is a gen 4 - maybe I need to go and check! |

If VIN is 9Hxxxxxx and above, then is H4. |

Thanks Alex. Going by that my 09 is a gen 4, so a MY10 definitely should be. |

Ok, just to throw a bit of mix into the thread, my 08 plate had a new diff/haldex when I bought it. It would, of course, have had a Gen3 but it sure anything has a Gen4 on it now................. |

yes there is filter on 3gen, i have buyed filter from volvo. Go to volvo dealer and ask volvo xc90 haldex filter, i do not remember the code atm, but i can find it if u want? and you may ask haldex oil also, ALOT CHEAPER.
