Depends on if you think you need the toys as opposed to wanting them for novelty value which will wear off. Of course you may just prefer toy mania full stop, each to their own. I had a GS and found that it is the best all rounder in the lineup as it strikes the balance between price and toys very nicely. Heated windscreen is standard on GS and that is the one toy/gizmo that I would miss most of all on any car as it is so useful and makes de-icing and de-misting so easy.

MY10 GS 31K, mileage important to me, Tom Tom or Garmin sat nav sits in the cubby hole nicely, black difficult to keep clean though.

Another vote for the 31k GS - unless there were signs of it being unloved when I went to see it.

31k 10 GS for me too. I tend to avoid cars with tow bars, as has already been said, you just don't know what they've been pulling. |

Apperantly not a concern , qualified engineers say towing makes no difference At work At home "I can't always believe facts I read on the web" - Charles Dickens winner by default of the tractor vs caravan race |

The XS for the extras. Winter pack and heated seats are very useful extras. 62k on a diesel isn't much. Just run in. |

The highest spec that suits your needs, but the higher the spec, the better it will hold its value at trade in time. |

Interesting. I would have thought that a lower mileage would be better come trade-in / resale? Certainly that seems to be the logic behind the dealer prices I've been offered, i.e lower mileage cars are more expensive than higher spec ones... Of course low miles AND high spec are even more |

I would agree that a low mileage is more value than spec.

Worst case you are talking 30k difference, hardly starship mileage, but in three or four years time, the GS will have depreciated more than the XS. |
