Spotted this on my way home a crabbing white van

It's rear wheels must have been a full wheel width out of line with the fronts

It looks like it's about to change lanes but was driving straight on

Seems to be a Mercedes Sprinter trade mark, quite often see them crabbing.

Could be difficult driving it down a narrow alley.

Lots of the old classic MINI used to do the same, caused by wear in the rear trailing arm bearings, rear subframe fixings misaligned or bad crash causing bodyshell distortion.

Or maybe the van was ok and your car is distorted creating the illusion ?

I'm sure I seen same van this morning on M6 before I turned onto M58 to Liverpool.

I was on the A1 heading south after been at the gliding club at Sutton bank, nr thirsk, late afternoon, his got around if it was the same driver

You can see the extent when I over take it

NP - did you report this ? If it is a danger then it seems to me this was the right thing to do.

I was heading north on M6 but like ad210358 said could be a sprinter trade mark, so probably a few of them out there like that. But yes that was pretty excessive, but I was wondering if he over took the vosa landy you past a minute later and if they pulled him over or not.

i wondered that myself, but do highways traffic officers have that freedom to pull people over?

Good question. it's a commercial vehicle, so I would of thought that maybe they could if something looks a bit dodgy. (But I am sort of assuming this) hopefully someone might shed some light on it for us.

i would have thought they would have had to call for a marked police car, as i was once told you don't need to stop for a unmarked police car, (possibly unless the driver was in uniform) so i doubt the one in my video would have been able to stop them
