Hello all,

I've just taken delivery of a new MY14 GS SD4 and very happy with it indeed ... however, nothing's perfect and I'm wondering about something to break up the black plastic fascia.

I've seen a few threads covering the install of aluminium finishers, but the only parts I can find online seem to be for the old pre MY13 dash.

Are there any interior trim kits available for the new models? Or do the older ones fit the newer models too?

You can fit the piano black kit to all models, and this makes a big difference.

This is what I got priced up for a 2013MY Dynamic I was going to buy. But didn't need to in the end as I bought an HSE Lux.

LR022488 - Dash Finisher Gloss Black £10.77 retail + VAT
LR022490 - Dash Finisher Gloss Black £10.77 retail + VAT
LR022116 - Dash Finisher Gloss Black £16.68 retail + VAT

The above three are for the glove box, the small section where the key slot used to be and the part on the right which would have been the headlight switch surround. So all in £45.86 including VAT, and most dealers will offer a 15% discount which would bring the bill down to £38.98 including VAT.

Then if you wanted to go the whole hog and do the steering wheel controls as well. You will need :-

LR040352 - £77.58 retail + VAT
LR040350 - £77.58 retail + VAT

S these two parts will come to £186.20 inc VAT before any discount.

I have been amazed over the years, how reasonably priced these type of parts are from LR.

These were all based on a 2013MY, so just check first of course. But all should be right. The costs for the Pre-2013MY versions were about the same. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
