These dashcams draw very little power so I don't see why not..

The lights are indeed earth switched and permanent 12V powered, but 12V through a power saver relay.

If I get a dashcam I would just have it working when driving so wiring into the interior light would be okay then? Andyfr |

No. There is only one 12V feed and that 12V feed is ON when the ignition is ON and remains ON for about 10 minutes after switching the ignition OFF. |

Interior lights switch off after 30 mins.

30 minutes for normal lock, 10 minutes for double lock or no lock at all.
