Tail light not working.

Although I have been a follower for some time, this is my first post.
The offside rear side light has stopped working. Bulb gone I thought. No, bulb OK. Then suspected the plug on the light cluster so swapped the clusters over. Problem stays with offside so assume the cluster side of the plug is OK. Cut back a small piece of the insulation on the wire leading to the car side of the socket and connected a bulb. No power there so must be other end of wire, FET? Look at wiring diagram which says that the same FET drives the front offside light which is working so can't be FET. Tried to trace wire to the large junction box behind the glove box but have been unable to identify which plug of the three I can see. Has anyone any ideas how to identify the plug and indeed how to get it off so that I can check the connections?
