The rear cross bar is for added strength. I would refit it when using the rails. Cant make that much a wind noise in town driving

I have roof rails and center bar, Cant make that much a wind noise,not heard anything below 90

I have the rails with Thule cross bars and no noise at all. I never did put the rear LR cross bar on. Before the rails I had the pedestal style sitting directly on the roof and clipping in the doors. The rails are much better. They aren't a one piece kit. I installed mine myself and would have no hesitation driving around without the rear attached....mine has never been attached. |
