United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

This does make me smile.

Know one has seen the actual Freelander replacement, because the actual physical form of the replacement car only exists on CAD at this time and a couple of mock ups with varying styles.

All the cars we have seen are purely mock up mules. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

He may have seen a mock up in the flesh, but he hasn't seen the new car. I can tell you for sure, that it is not a rounded off Evoque. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

My salesman reckons it will hit the show rooms in early 2015, but he did say subject to change.

I've already enquired about one, dealt with the same salesman for a few years so he knows what I'm like, a sucker for a new LR product, and I'm already penciled in to take one when launched. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Not as funny as you think, I remember the Dealers taking deposits for the Evoque when it was the LRX.

I haven't parted with money. Deposit is fully refundable. They have registered my interest and when the order books open I will be asked for cash.

Dealers will take deposits on anything. I put a deposit down on my Evoque when it was still a concept car back in 2010, took delivery January 2012 and bought a Fl2 GS SD4 in between. I followed that car from concept to production.

There was a member of babyRR.com who put a deposit down on the DC100 concept but that's been scraped at the moment. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I just find it funny chaps thinking that far ahead etc when I was looking to order the MY14 Dynamic back in September the dealers themselves were unsure about certain items. Such as if you could still specify the 19" diamond turned alloy with contrast paint finish as an NCO. Another item I asked and they still are to get back to me is if mine will come the the grand black lacquer around the centre console area or is that reserved only for the HSE LUX. (I have opted for the grand black lacquer trim). Finally the spare wheel was another big issue an expensive one at my expense that I will start as a new topic. Wasn't having a dig at anyone ordereing a new car well in advance. After the little niggles I have had whilst seeing what was avaialble on my MY14 build bearing in mind it was only very very suttle changes, I would never place a refundable deposit on anything without seeing the actual spec list first. But thats just me Thumbs Up MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

At this stage all I'm doing is booking my space in the queue, specs and building a car to suit me comes a long way done the line. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
