I don't think the add on bits of the Dynamic are much different to the HST, only the front and rear has changed, depends on how handy you are.

England 2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Auto Sumatra Black

Reading this thread got me looking at side steps again. I've seen these on Ebay, £115 delivered

They don't seem to stick out much? Anyone else think that? Ive looked at the fitting instruction link, pictures says they just bolt on underneath so no need for cutting trim etc, might be really easy to fit? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I looked at them as they were the cheapest buy it now ones. But for a bit more money there are ones that look better.

On the subject of cutting the lower trim for the brackets, if you removed the side steps would you see the holes in the trim? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Just fitted a set today. They look ok, but the feel flimsy and flexy. Its a really crap method of fixing and could be done so much better and stronger.

But the wife likes them, so that's all that counts.

What set did you buy ? You realy have to make sure they sit back in the brackets to stop them flexing. Had to tweek mine a few times to fit now they are rock solid.

Or did i TWERK them Rolling with laughter

It was an eBay set ( one of the many ).

The bars are pushed as far back into the brackets as I can get them, and they are sitting within the top and bottom bars of the inner bracket. The diagrams show that the square bar is meant to slot right back until it reaches the flat surface of the bracket. I can't get them that far back. This is stopped by either the rubber moulding of the step sitting flush (as it looks like it should ) against the rear section of the sill, or the rubber hitting the outer support bracket. To get it to go further inwards, I would need to cut sections of the tread plate away, which doesn't seem right.

The brackets are tight, and holding the metal work tight, just more that the step plate is a bit flex.
