Just googled and found something on eBay, I was hoping they had magnets on the inside of the glass that held it in place

I had a car with similar window system, total pain to get into when it froze. In the end I put a Defa 1.2kw fan heater in the car. I had it set up so I could leave it in-situ throughout the winter but disconnect and take it out of the car in the spring. I routed the wiring so it ended up with an external 2 pin capped plug velroed under the rear bodywork. When I parked it at night I used to run an extension lead out to it and plug it in, the lead was connected to a programmable plug in the garage set to come on half an hour before I got in it. Not only did it de-freeze the door, the car was nice and warm to get into.
