I would say yes, had a 10 mm bolt in my van tyre a few weeks ago and their repaired it.. It's wasn't a low profile, but might be worth taking it in to see what they say Wink BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders

Cheers for that

It says the T value for a 215 is 151, does that mean you can go 75.5mm either side of centre and repair it?

If it does mean that, from centre tyre to centre screw its 71/72mm Shocked Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I was told by a tyre place near us if the mushroom come in to contact with the side wall they cannot do it, it would need sending away to be repaired. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

I will see tomorrow, it's not loosing pressure, but could be plugging itself, shove my tyrepal on her car, and will take it to the tyre garage tomorrow, see what they say, if not it's £117 to replace, but have sent McP a pm regarding his repair Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

and the winners is SteveD, Laughing

i took the car to halfords, as it was just round the corner from my wifes work, they were also cheaper by £20+ than some other tyre garages in the area.

He said that the inside of the tyre will be starting to curve were the side wall starts so not fixable

I was sent company details who can repair this type of puncture so i have ask for the tyre to be swapped to a new one and i can see if it can be repaired at a later date, if not i will bin it or make a swing

but this brought the price down a further £15 so a shade over £100 and a new tyre Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

There doesn't appear to enough tread on that tyre to have it repaired. Or is there?!

just spoke to Dunlop as halfrauds have got the correct tyre on its way, but their suppliers have told them the RT is the newer more grippy and better performing tyre which replaces the SP

So i rang Dunlop to clarify, the RT is as said above and the tech support said if he was buying he would go for that tyre, but you shouldn't really mix different tyres on each axle, as they grip differently

so it a better tyre, its cheaper and it could put my wife in a hedge, no thanks you can fit the correctly ordered tyre Mad

so if another one comes to be damaged, it looks like its 2 tyres i would be buying, or 4 as i hat mismatching tyres with a vengeance Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
