Agreed Deep heavy snow requires ground clearance and preferably 4WD as well as winter tyres. The amount of idiots I've seen blocking roads Partly due to summer tyres but also to do with them having no clue how to drive in the stuff! An M3 trying to get up a snow covered side street was farcical. Why would you even go out in an M3 in snow?! For the journeys I make to work and Uni plus the fact I live on a main road, with those conti's fitted, I will be able to get around with no fuss in all but the aforementioned scenarios. No spinning wheels instead of pulling away on compacted snowy roads for me LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby LOT (Lord of Time) - University of Gallifrey |

Just keep an eye on the rear view mirror and hope the driver behind can also stop in the same distance! |

It's observational based on the chilly conditions, the altitude you stated and the fact it's a blackbird up there in the cold. Didn't think that was their cup of tea so to speak LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
