And they couldn't get the electronic handbrake to release! The car was dragged on to the recovery vehicle with the rear wheels locked. |

Sill not keen on the idea of having an electronic handbrake. What would you do if the brakes failed whilst going down a steep incline? |

I saw the program. Over on the babyRR the police program was mentioned with a link to how to select neutral and disengage hand brake. I guess this problem is more common than we think with modern car electronics. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

There is a way of releasing the Drive Select knob on all LR/RR vehicles, method differs slightly with each one but it is possible. Also possible to release the EPB in all vehicles fitted with one.

Hoick on the EPB lever, just as you would and old handbrake lever. |
