Yep, been living with that one for over a year now. Dealer has had a couple of attempts to fix, without success. I'm convinced it is related to the luggage cover, it is very much reduced (some times goes away completely) if I travel with the cover taken out, though this is inconvenient because I have to put it back in place everytime I leave the car (for security of boot contents) I'm hoping this noise will be cured by a new car (not a LR) in just over twelve months!!! Sorry to sound negative but given up with LR ..... Too many niggles for a supposed premium brand, maybe Tata will do a better job. |

Me feels that way too. For the price of the FL2 I could have bought a Jeep with the same spec and save 6 grand Will shop around next time and give LR a miss. ______________________ 2011 Full Fat RR 4.4 TDV8 2012 FL2 SD4 Auto HSE 2013 Kawasaki Versys 650 |

I have come from a Nissan xtrail through a Merc C200K (owned for 2 months) and all of them creaked in some way - the saving grace with LR is that it is really fun to drive!!!!!!

To the best of my knowledge, the high pitched whine from the front when you stop the car is something to do with the turbo having oil/coolant pumped around it and goes off after a minute or so.

I had the creaks from the back - much more pronounced when driving slowly over bumps (surely not a common occurance for a 4x4 ). The dealer recognised it as a known issue and fixed the problem.

There is a service bulletin(creaking/clicking in rear) out for this, hopefully it will do the trick as the noise is driving me bonkers |
