Yes, looks like that, cant think of other leak. I would A) Clear it with brake cleaner, see how big the leak is. Maybe it is not something to lose your sleep over B) RHS steering knuckle off, wishbone off, driveshaft mounting bracket off, driveshaft out, old seal out, new seal in. Shouldn't take more than 2 hours |

Thanks blaster, ive ordered a new seal (LR003153 if anyone needs to) and will have a go when it arrives.

I had an oil leak and turned out the PTU needed replacing. I haven't got the ability to do anything like that and ended up paying around £900 to have an exchange one fitted -and that was better than several other quotes. Hope yours is just the seal. |
