How often do you clean your F2

Reading the various posts on here about detailing etc, it seems a lot of you keep your F2 remarkably clean!
Am I unusual in only cleaning mine every two or three months. It gets a good coat of wax in the autumn, after it comes back from service and the main stealer has cleaned it. Then it is just a hose down every couple of months!

I look forward to reading your comments. 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

Every 6/7 days for me, my shift pattern is 6 on, 4 off, so I get time!!

Inside and out, usually take an afternoon, then the usual fluids etc. To me, it's a hobby, as I do friends and family, bit of machine polishing here and there. 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

Every Sunday inside and out, around 3 hours start to finish... I'm like Jim I enjoy doing it... Think I've missed one weekly wash since I've had, so one Sunday did it twice Laughing (joke) Whistle BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders

As a retired person (every day is the weekend) about once every 7 to 10 days or when it needs it. Can't stand a messy interior and it is always ready for a trip to 'chez nous' in Normandy. All levels and pressures checked at same time.

over the last 40 years or so I have spent countless hours washing and polishing cars, and have come to the conclusion that realistically is is a total waste of time !!

indeed when I was younger I would have said I was a bit obsessive and looking back I could have done something better with my time.

also at the end of the day you get no more when you come to trade in the car for a new one, as the only thing that matters is mileage.

but after saying that I do find washing and cleaning my cars a bit therapeutic and it is also good exercise.

so I do still wash my cars on a regular basis ( maybe once a fortnight depending on the weather and road conditions ) as I like to see them clean, but am not as obsessive as I used to be !!

I tend to give mine a good spring clean once winter is out of the way (up here there's no point in even trying to keep it clean over the winter!) then a quick wash every couple of months when it starts to look grubby. Plus maybe a bit of a tidy up before holidays, weddings, etc.

I'm more obsessed with the inside, I clean and vacuum every week whereas the outside gets a wash every 2/3 weeks and a half hearted wax twice a year.

I know this is sad (and maybe too much time on my hands?) but pressure washed, washed and leathered off at least once week!
