Northeast Laners

Is anyone here a member of the Northeast Laners community/forum?
http://northeastlaners.proboards.com/

It sounds interesting, but they don't let you see anything without registering and I'm always reluctant to register for something without knowing a bit about it first! So if you're a member, is it worth joining for the local knowledge? Are they a decent group of people, like those here (mostly Smile )? Is it a suitable place for a 'shiny' FL2 owner, or are they all custom Defender/Series types in search of the ultimate challenge?

I'm a member of the forum, although I've never attended any of the meets. I know a few of the members through the LRO forum, and they are all very friendly.

The forum is good for local knowledge, and they have regular days out. There is also the usual boards, such as technical help etc. It's well worth joining, IMO.
