United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Baltic Blue
LRE Day - Luton Hoo

Had a great session here with number 2 son this afternoon, in an incredibly capable Defender 110. It had rained most of the morning, making the conditions ideal in terms of mud/water/slippery stuff etc. That car is something else...it did things a Disco 4 couldn't/wouldn't attempt, and the Ford Transit 2.2 Diesel engine suited it perfectly. No computers/HDC/TR...just a good old fashioned straightforward workhorse with a mechanically locking Diff.

For those who have never tried a Defender before, it's a bone-shaker, but a great experience nonetheless. My thanks to Simon, who was first class as an instructor...we loved it! Thumbs Up

England 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black

I've driven that one at Luton myself, it's brilliant isn't it? Reversing up that ridiculously steep hill left me grinning like a schoolboy. Laughing 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green
