From what I recall, all Freelander 2's are fitted with the auxiliary heater which I think is located under the gear lever, at least it was in that area where work under a recall for the early models was done.

I think there are two types of heater? Mine has an auxiliary heater that warms the air up quicker an electric element. But in colder countries I think there is an auxiliary heater that is connected to the diesel tank that warms the car up, this one has a remote control option I believe. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

This morning, the temperature outside was 25 degrees, but display on the dash showed -8. |
