This car has suffered from intermediate missing from new between 1000 and 2000 RPM. It has been back to the garage 6 times without a fix. Has anyone had a similar problem and or know how to fix it. Have travelled a lot with my job now looking to do other things and enjoy myself. |

I have had a problem on 2011 XS 150 Man 29k miles , it was similar to a slight misfire and was pronounced under 50mph especially say trying to drive at a steady 30 mph

Mine is in harwoods Tonbridge for this now, diagnosed as a haldex issue,it kept staying engaged, and manifested it self as a miss fire" / stutter. |

Mine also at the dealership today for what sounds like a similar problem - MY11 SD4 HSE. Brake to 10-20mph then accelerate and experience a brief misfire/hesitance/judder. Sometimes happens also when just cruising along. |

Guessing your SD4 is an auto so that rules out clutch slip for you.

Dealership just called - leak in intercooler hose is suspected for judder, but they also want to replace the rear diff as that is making a slight noise. Mixed feelings about that, good that they found it and will replace it without question, worrying that it needs replacing at 23k miles.

Sorry missed this reply. Thanks for the feedback. Diagnosed as 'boost hose from intercooler to throttle housing leaking, replace and retest for judder' (£151.44). Technician believes the problem is mostly resolved and I agree, but they were not happy that it had been fixed completely so have submitted a TR to LR for further advice. Pcheaven, what was the solution, replacement, or there is a repair available? |
