Great fun isn't it? Never been to the plain in a car but quite a few times on the bike. You'll be trying to get the white mud and dust off for ages. |

Sounds great. I haven't been off roading yet in my FL2. Only down a short muddy track. I'm still searching for some good places that are not too far from where I live. I'm looking forward to seeing some pics. |

Plain is very FL2 friendly as very little foliage to scratch. Off there mid July in the Classics for a boys weekend of laning, beer and steaks!

We went with 2 other Freelanders and our mate, who has been offroading & greenlaning for 20+ years and knows the plain well.

At the initial RV there were "hundreds" of us - the old hands broke us up into small groups & we all set off in different directions
It would seem so, although I didn't see it: http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic15807-90.html 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green Gone: 2018 L550, TD4 SE Tech Auto, Carpathian Grey Gone: Defender 90 200Tdi, Grey Raptor Gone: 2012 FL2, TD4 GS Manual, Santorini Black |

I didn't see any "Plain Wardens", although I don't know how to recognise one. Enjoy your trip, I would love to do it all again but doubt SWMBO will grant me a day pass for a long while 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green Gone: 2018 L550, TD4 SE Tech Auto, Carpathian Grey Gone: Defender 90 200Tdi, Grey Raptor Gone: 2012 FL2, TD4 GS Manual, Santorini Black |

Jet-washing the mud onto my driveway the next day wasn't quite as much fun as putting it on the FL2 in the first place 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green Gone: 2018 L550, TD4 SE Tech Auto, Carpathian Grey Gone: Defender 90 200Tdi, Grey Raptor Gone: 2012 FL2, TD4 GS Manual, Santorini Black |

Hey that does look good - I need to get mine muddy too, but new to greenlining and need to learn some of the roaps, so it would be great to join up with a group for an outing |
