Anyone bought a new FL2 in UK since April? Just wondering discounts/deals...looks like there is a 2K discount on offer

Ordered an MY2013 HSE SD Auto yesterday (they only do auto in SD don't they!!). Hopefully delivery by September. I first tried my nearest dealer to discuss wish list and price. Felt salesman was not particularly interested and not taking me that seriously. However, arranged a test drive on the Saturday only to find he had arranged a manual transmission car! I already have one of those so he hurriedly found an SD Auto which was a 'service loan' car. He couldn't be bothered to come with me so gave me a couple of hours with the car. I found a few hilly country lanes and had a play with the gizmos and quite impressed with the general drive. Back at the ranch he was really pushing me to hand over a deposit. He thought he was doing me a favour with just over 2% discount but wanted an arm and a leg for a tow bar (£700+). He agreed to talk to parts dept today for a better price on tow bar but still hasn't called me back as promised.
Went to Harwoods in Basingstoke yesterday, as it was close to a garden centre that Mrs P wanted to visit, and chatted to the duty salesman. He was really pleasant and as I knew exactly what I wanted he gave me a price that was £2k below the other dealer (somewhere in the Portsmouth area!) including tow bar, so I signed up.
A long winded way of getting to richardk's point on 2K discounts! Anyway, I'm changing to an auto and glad. Just hope the clutch holds out until I sell it!
