For the record our 10 plate F2 had a slight noise off the rear axle from day 1, SWMBO refused to mention to dealer at services as she "couldn't hear anything" Rolling Eyes After Banging Head I put it down to a lack of noise damping from no spare wheel in the well.

Took 60K miles and 3.25 years to stop being a whine to being something very bad!
