Got to agree with MartynB, if the sound of a Merlin or Griffon doesn't do anything for you, then you have no soul! |

Just got back home after being down south for a couple of weeks. Whilst there we went to Biggin Hill for the BBC "Friday Night is Music Night" Dambusters 70th Anniversary commemoration. Stirring stuff - BBC Orchestra, RAF Band & Squadronairres, Plus Military Wives choir. A super night and well organised. Nearly 2,500 attended. A fitting tribute to brave men! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Pegleg. Enjoy Cosford. If you get the time, take a look in the museum. In the Cold War Hangar (The modern one that looks like a giant twisted teepee) you will find all three V bombers together - Valiant, Vulcan & Victor. Only place in the world all three can be seen together. In the Vulcan bomb bay you will see a video running where you will see XM646 in operation. I spent 5 years looking after that babe & in 1982 they went and scrapped it! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
