My original plan was to buy a roadhawk 720 in car camera. I am tempted by the higher spec DC1 though.

I see this getting too pricey for my liking. I might just stick with the roadhawk 720. Unless you guys know of an in car camera for the same price as the DC1 that has all the GPS shenanigans but with software that runs on MAC?

Odd.... cause I know I have ..... What you can't do is bookmark or image them ( or what ever the feature is ).... you can't share vms and if your on windows you can't create osx images.... I'm sure there's more but you don't need any thing but the basics....
