MAC experts please...

My original plan was to buy a roadhawk 720 in car camera. I am tempted by the higher spec DC1 though.

Only problem is, the software with the DC1 that shows speed etc, is not compatible with Macs. Any MAC experts know how I could get it to work? Any conversion software available?

I see this getting too pricey for my liking. I might just stick with the roadhawk 720. Unless you guys know of an in car camera for the same price as the DC1 that has all the GPS shenanigans but with software that runs on MAC?

I have searched google but struggling.... LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Bootcamp, Parallels or VMware Fusion will do the trick.

There are other (free) options available such as Oracle's Virtualbox (https://www.virtualbox.org) which may be worth a look if cost is an issue.

You'll also need a copy of Windows along with an appropriate product key for the version you want to install.

VMware player is free, but you can't create new vm's with it if memory serves correctly...

You need an open source virtual machine (I.e. free) try virtualbox from oracle.

https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

You still need a copy of windows to install your virtual machine.

Odd.... cause I know I have .....

What you can't do is bookmark or image them ( or what ever the feature is ).... you can't share vms and if your on windows you can't create osx images....

I'm sure there's more but you don't need any thing but the basics....

If you don't have a copy of Windows (which you need for a VM) you could try crossover (codeweavers.com) which enables you to run a native Windows app without actually installing Windows. If they haven't encountered the App you want to use then it'd be a question of trial and error. 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green
