I have had my diff go twice, first time they told me they had replaced it, the second time they replaced it and told me the first time they had do a fix on it.

I've recently had my diff bearing replaced. I'm also an 08 plate with 75k on the clock. Farnell Land Rover in Bradford quickly diagnosed the problem and carried out the low level repair. All is now working well. I would strongly recommend you contact them. |

Thanks. Did you get the repair done free of charge from LR? My relative has been quoted £600 for repair or £1200+ for replacement. |

Shop around, a member in your area on here got his done recently for £400 ish, parts are £150 |

No I had to pay as vehicle isn't under warranty. I paid £420 but you can pay much more at some of the other local dealers. Get in touch with Farnell.

Just had mine done at the main dealers. Just over £400. 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.
