Nice one Nick, thanks for the info and had to laugh at their 'Capital' figure of £8,898.00 for the 3rd April when newspaper reports are saying they have received a Million pounds of ticket money from customers still waiting for flights, I wonder where that went Rolling Eyes

I'll wait to see if 'Chargeback' can do anything from the letter I sent, because at this stage they have only ceased trading and not applying for liquidation until the end of the month.

If it looks to be a headache (and I already got one because she still wants a birthday present), I'll just cut down on the beer for a few days to cut my loss Laughing

United Kingdom

so £1000,000 in orders, £211 per couple, thats 4739 people waiting, say a basket holds 6 people thats 1579 flights per year, now taking into account the ballooning season is 7 months, they fly 217 days, so thats 1579 flights in 217 day, thats just over 7 flights per day if thay fly every day, which is impossible

When they normally only fly morning and evening, thats a maximum of 2 flights a day depending on weather, (wind speed, visability etc) in a single balloon and with assets of £8800, i assume they only have one balloon at most Shocked Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I don't know if they owned or contracted out but we could have picked a location from nearly every county in England and each county had about four launch sites with an AM and PM launch. It was a big operation on paper, but in reality Question

I suppose all it takes is a year of bad weather, wages to pay, site/land rent, maintenance costs etc and your'e on the downhill slide.
For instance the launch site for yesterday was York racecourse so they would have had to pay the owners of the land upfront like all others and then the weather cancels it.

So it has, I see the limit for 'chargeback' is 540 days, mine is 521 days but 2 weeks after sending a claim letter to 'Debit Card Disputes' I still have'nt had an acknowledgement.
They are either snowed under or waiting for my claim to go over the 540 days Laughing
