How to give the 4 year old the birthday she won't forget

A new TV, a party for all her friends, no wait I must give here more

So what could I do to make Keira birthday more eventful???

How about putting a black man who just tried to force his way past me into my house in a half Nelson headlock till the police arrive!! Shocked Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I think I need a little stronger drink Wink

Rachel answered the door and he was giving it I need help their trying to kill me, I came down stairs and asked what going on, and to be on his way, he asked for help again and told him to Censored off out my garden and he grabbed at the door frame and me, quick spin and just like Kendo Nagasaki I got him restrained and in a head lock! ( thanks dad for making us watch Saturday evening wresting as a kid, lol)

Held him there till police arrived on blue light, had a laugh about it, as I was asking him, have you been drinking? have you had anything else I need to be aware of? Have you been shopping in leeds or York? What your name etc

Obviously something has happened, to him today, on the train, or in his head, and he obviously needs help. Though he is known to the police in Manchester for petty crimes from what they said..... Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I bet when you answered the door Nick, you said this:

I don't know who you are, I don't know what you want, if you are looking for a place to hide I can tell you I haven't got time to help but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career, skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you leave my house and daughters birthday party now that will be the end of it, I will not fight with you, I will not restrain you. But if you don't, I will fight with you, I will restrain you.......and I will get you in a head lock! LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Shocked It's great to hear your all ok. I was staying at a friends house, and the house was robbed whilst we were asleep. They stole jewellery some cash and his Porsche. Luckily the police caught them a few days later and we found out that the they were armed. Shocked God knows what would have happened if one of us had woken up. Confused

I'm trying not to dwell on the what if's

The police have rang with a update and the chap got agitated at the station and is in the cells in a paper suit, to he can't self harm.

Glad he wasn't mental and armed though Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thumbs Up glad it turned out OK, it's a scenario that none of us are prepared for and cannot be pre-planned. We just deal with it on the day, at the time and it worked for you.

Try to forget it now and don't dwell on it as the chances of it ever happening again are zilch. Smile

I think you did very well Nick. I was brought up in the day when John Wayne ruled and we always imagined what we would do if our family or ourselves were threatened by someone. It always involved me hitting the guy once when he would then instantly become unconscious and when the police asked where my strength and courage came from I would say the immortal line" a man has to do what a man has to do".the difference is, you did it.Well done you and let's hope you never have to do it again. Ralph
